Open, or what is commonly understood as Tote bets, including Exotic Bets add the following functionality to the basic
TurfSport2 system:
- These combination bets may be boxed, a banker or floating banker. The total stake for all possible bet combinations is constantly maintained as possible risk.
- Warnings to prevent any combination exceeding a given limit may be defined by the bookmaker.

The combined stake for all live exotic bets per winning leg is constantly updated to reflect
a possible risk. All scratching rules according to Saftote are implemented when processing the result of each leg.
Coupon scanners are optional to expedite the entry of a bet. Coupons may be customized to define the selection of events.
The coupon scanner scans each coupon, produces the betting slip and logs the bet.
